Reviews and Ratings
I appreciated the lovely new hotel and its Lanna-themed cozy lobby, but I was disappointed with the service, particularly given my status as a Platinum IHG member. The swimming pool was a nice escape from the heat, but overall, the experience lacked the warm recognition I expected from a luxury hotel.
My stay at InterContinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping was truly nice, highlighted by the amazing views from my room and the attentive staff. While I appreciated the extensive breakfast options, I noticed some lapses in restaurant service, especially at the egg station. Overall, the luxurious ambiance and great location made for an enjoyable experience. 🌟🥞
I had an overall pleasant stay at the Intercontinental Chiang Mai. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the night market, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. However, I experienced some initial hiccups with my room, including a less-than-ideal bathroom tap situation, which I didn't expect from a hotel of this caliber. The quick service response made up for it, but I believe they should pay more attention to such fundamental issues.
I found the Intercontinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping to be a comfortable hotel, though a bit dated in some areas. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the night markets and old city. I enjoyed the spacious and clean room, but it could certainly benefit from some renovations. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the two pools were lovely, although I sometimes struggled to find space at the pool area.
I had a wonderful experience at Intercontinental Chiang Mai The Mae Ping. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed. The breakfast spread was impressive with a good mix of Asian and Western options. However, the rooms did have a bit of a dated feel. The hotel is beautifully designed and offers great facilities, but some aspects could use a refresh.
